Teleport Block Party II After a successful turnout of folks to the lively, communal atmosphere it created in 2022, the Teleport Block Party is back for round two! Closing down a stretch of West Broadway between Monroe and Lincoln, the true-to-its-name event spills onto the street outside Teleport Vintage + Co. with vendors of all kinds, from retro threads to furniture, plus plants, jewelry, skin care, art and more. Live music throughout the day brings the good vibes, as do beer, cider and seltzer to sip as you shop. While many of the shop’s dozen-plus vendors are bringing tons more wares to display in booths set up along the street, vendors (both from here and afar) who don’t sell at Teleport have also been invited to join the party. While most of us aren’t ready to say “bye” to summer just yet, this event is a great excuse to start building your sustainable and stylish fall wardrobe.
Teleport Block Party When road construction blocks one of the main access points to your business, what do you do? Shut down the rest of the block and throw a party, of course! That’s what the folks at Teleport Vintage + Co. are doing while nearby construction jams up traffic. More than 20+ local vendors of vintage wares will spread into the street outside. No party is complete without some good vibes, so local musicians — Rosie Cerquone, Nat Park and the Tunnels of Love, Lucas Brookbank Brown, Estuari, and Vika & the Velvets — are taking to the stage, and nearby eatery Chowderhead is serving up tasty bites. Beverages for the 21-and-up crowd can also be purchased and enjoyed inside the shop: beer, cider and seltzer. (Pro tip: You can sip while you shop at Teleport any time, as the shop has a permanent liquor license!) Get out there for one of the last summer weekends and spruce up your fall wardrobe with some stylish and sustainable duds.
