Indian government has issued a ban order on 54 Chinese apps. The report stated that most of these 54 Chinese apps are “rebranded or rechristened avatars” of apps banned in 2022.
The Indian government is all set to ban 54 Chinese mobile applications which are posing threat to national security, the sources in the Ministry of Home Affairs said on Monday.
The Indian government has banned 54 new apps, including Garena Free Fire, saying that it has the “Power to issue directions for interception or monitoring or decryption of any information through any computer resource.”
