LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – Flu season will be here soon adding to the strain of hospitals already dealing with the pandemic.
As of early December, the CDC is reporting that flu activity across the country is lower than usual.
Not a single flu patient is hospitalized at Mayo Clinic.
Still doctors say it is important to be prepared.
“It’s been a quiet year so far. But it’s still important to get your vaccination,” said Mayo Clinic Dr. Teresa Mallett.
