We considered all equity and equity-oriented categories such as large cap, mid cap, small cap, large & mid cap, multi cap, flexi cap, focused fund, ELSS, value, contra, aggressive hybrid, equity savings, balanced advantage and dynamic asset allocation, and arbitrage fund categories for the study.

We considered equity categories such as large cap, mid cap, large & mid cap, small cap, ELSS, multi cap, focused funds, value & contra fund categories. We considered yearly returns starting from 2018 to 2022. We did not consider the flexi cap category as it has just completed three years.

Discipline and being true to its label have helped the fund in the past. However, going forward, its large size and SEBI restrictions on investment in overseas stocks could be challenges.
