welcome back to this special edition of yajansing & co. we are in washington. for the ekd is time since world war ii the political party is regaining control in the house. in this case, it is the republicans. we have so much to talk about today. before we get back to more political news we went to head back to richard lui. a lot happening in washington, d.c. we want to get you updated on this story coming out of miami. miami international airport, pictures you see here on that site is that they have bomb sniffing dogs that alerted authorities there of a suspicious package. this happened to be a bag in a secure area of terminal g, according to miami police department. one of the deetectives telling s that flights have been evacuated and flights have been diverted to a nearby terminal. currently the bomb squad is working on the scene.
what we understand at the miami airport the bomb squad called out there. there is a chopper right now over the situation. some of those pictures you can see on camera. bomb sniffing dogs alerted authorities about a bag in the secure area of terminal g of the miami airport. the police are then launching into their protocol. they re sending agents, fire trucks. you can see that on your screen. the bomb squad is there, too. they won t say what flight or air carrier was involved. bahamas air flight and that the bag was in a baggage room. you can see the police on site and, according to miami public information office, the incident is over. according to mihmy dade police the investigation is still active, as well. we ll continue to watch that. we ll be back with more.
