The court has extended preservation orders allowing the anti-corruption agency to seize wealth worth Sh1.2 billion belonging to a top official at the Ministry of Lands.

Justice Esther Maina on Tuesday extended the orders stopping Mr Nicholas Owino Ochiel from dealing with the assets.

Officer accused of incorporating two firms that he used as conduits for corruption. He was employed at the Ministry of Lands as a valuer in 1996 and rose through the ranks.
