jillian: good morning. welcome back. the campaign of virginia democratic candidate terry mccalliffe is brushing off his endorsement. a spokeswoman responded shortly after glen youngkin was endorsed. this nonpartisan group previously endorsed mcauliffe s run for governor. it backed ralph northam during his 2017 run. todd: colleges across the country adopting woke policies and educators caught in the middle. our next guest was so fed up, he quit his job as an assistant philosophy professor. he joined me now to explain. what was the final straw for you? the final straw was a long
love to do it, subject in his words, to my lawyers and all that. precisely that. stand by. i want to get your reaction to this other excerpt from this exchange that the white house correspondents had with the president. it s really pretty remarkable for the number of inaccuracies, conspiracy mongerings and outright just strangeness. first of all, hillary did not give any money to mccabe s wife when she ran for the state senate in virginia. it was terry mccalliffe, yes, a friend of the clintons, but he s very much involved in virginia politics and would have every reason to support a democrat in that seat. the, i m trying to keep track of all the things he said.
gubernatorial race where terry mccalliffe is in the driver s seat. may be the closest contest will be the state attorney general s race between mark herring and mark o ben shane, the polling we ve seen on attorney generals race is a little tougher. the polling we ve seen it is very close. democrats do have the chance for a sweep. and it s significant because it s a state in virginia which has been a swing state. it s perfectly reflected the spread in the 2008, 2012 presidential races and that s what we ll watch tomorrow night. the poll shows mcauliffe is up 6% and also interesting to know note, mark, how much the clintons have been involved in this race and for obvious reasons as well as the president s limited involvement in the race. the president had a limited involvement and his people would point out because of the government shutdown, kept him from having any campaign activity in the first half of the month of the october.
