For Terry Wise and Joanne Belke, the Ride for Mom is an opportunity to honour the memory of their late mothers.

The ball took place at Hotel Anthracite in Carbondale Saturday night.

The Stockbridge Library, Museum & Archives is exhibiting "Exploring Abstraction," paintings by artist Terry Wise, through Saturday, Jan. 30, in the lobby gallery.  The paintings are primarily oil on paper and were executed as an exercise while taking an online course from Hudson Valley abstract painter Jenny Nelson during the past summer of pandemic isolation. Patrons and guests are invited to view the exhibit anytime during open library hours.
