The ceo of biontech, they believe a vaccine made in conjunction was pharmaceutical giant pfizer could be ready for approval by the fda by the middle of next month. Now, biontech is one of nine vaccine makers to sign a new safety pledge this morning to uphold quote high ethical standards. It suggests they wont seek premature approval until the trial is complete. Youre counting. A nation in dire need of consistent, factual information about coronavirus. Still hearing everything but. President trump contradicting his own Top Health Officials yet again on the importance of Wearing Masks and the timing of a vaccine. It started when cdc director robert red field testifying before Congress Wednesday delivered this sobering reality check about the vaccine for the general public. I think there will be vaccine that will initially be available sometime between november and december but very limited supply and will have to be prioritized. If youre asking me when is it going to be generally available to the American Public so we can begin to take advantage of vaccine to get back to our regular life, i think were probably looking at third late second quarter, Third Quarter 2021. That timing inconvenient as it may be for an incumbent president is in line with what other experts have said. The president even told bob woodward back in the spring that it would

And what theyre doing is so egregious that i can no longer be a part of it. And, therefore, im going to leave. Not only am i going to leave, i am going to inform the American People about whats happening because its really with this administration, as i was watching this president , today, deal with the press. And say things like, oh, find out for yourself. And just completely spinning about saying woodward says i knew something. Woodward doesnt say it. Trump said it. But woodward. The whole thing about blaming. It just it was infuriating because im a journalist, right . And woodward is not even a working member of the press, anymore. Hes an author. He was. The president says that he did not want to create a panic. But tell that to thousands of people who could be alive today if there was a plan, if simple measures were taken in this country such as wearing a mask. And note this, the president has continued to downplay this outbreak. Months later, only a week ago he questioned the death toll itself and you may remember the president s dismissal of the deadly pandemic in an interview with axios one month ago. Remember these words.
