On the day after the Lakers unveiled a statue of Kobe Bryant, hundreds of people lined up to view the sculpture outside Crypto.com Arena in downtown.

The 4,000-pound statue depicts Bryant in his white No. 8 jersey as he walked off the court following his 81-point performance against the Toronto Raptors in January 2006.

The 19-foot, 4,000-pound bronze likeness depicts Bryant in his No. 8 jersey with his right index finger raised as he walked off the court following his 81-point performance against the Toronto Raptors in January 2006. Two more statues are planned.

Bryant's widow said the statue is the first of three that will be created to honor the five-time NBA champion and Lakers' top scorer ever.
