lawsuits are expensive. when you have a case, you file a lawsuit. when you don t, you throw it over to a federal agency and hope that they harass the people that you don t like which is what you re doing. the obama administration, its agencies have a trhair trigger r racial grievances. my thought is they ll go after the texas school board and state education agency because the naacp say minority children score lower on standardized tests. there might be a lot of reasons for this. they re claiming the reason is racism. they don t have to prove it, by the way, they have to prove something called desperate impact. what s your problem with this? my problem is that it s the reasons behind the desperate impact on the standardized tests, as i said, are complex and researchers spend a lot of time studying it and don t know the answer but it s there s very little evidence that racism is the cause. and yet, it s pretty easy to crush people under that pretext. absolutely.

you know, not even close. it has become slightly left liberal than it was but it s still fundamentally a pretty liberal curriculum but the claim is that because the history taught does not aggressively celebrate certain ethnic groups, that it is discriminatory and the idea behind it is this, the point of history is to make students feel good about their ethnic group, the ethnic group to which they belong rather than to teach them about what happened. and this is a pretty common assumption in american education. all right. let me tell you what the naacp president explains. this is not a lawsuit, he says we ve asked them to do a proactive review, to do a more in-depth review in reference to the concerns we ve raised. and in the course of that review, we re asking that if we re vindicated, that some of the things that we we get would be stopping them from implementing these standards. that s gary bledsoe, he s the president. is that fair? right. you notice it s not a lawsuit as you
