The inspiring, complicated story of how 2Fifty Texas BBQ rose to international acclaim after opening its restaurant in DC

I do not consider myself a foodie or an influencer, but I do pride myself as an explorer. Even as a native Houstonian, it is hard to keep up with the hottest and freshest places sprouting up in the different pockets of Houston neighborhoods. With all the stars aligned, exploring Houston’s food scene has allowed me to indulge in the chef’s table and have conversations with five innovative culinary geniuses who I respect for being tastemakers in the Houston culinary circle.
