Thadeus McNeely was sentenced to an additional 15 months on two assault charges on top of his nine year sentence on manslaughter he was sentenced to earlier this year.
Fort Good Hope's chief and council originally wanted the sentencing hearing for Thaddeus McNeely moved out of the community, which they said was still dealing with trauma from the events of Sept. 20, 2022.
