I have been taking 1-on-1 off-line classes at That’s Mandarin for one and half months. The teacher is knowledgeable and well skilled in teaching. The school pays good attention to my needs and the classes take place in a positive and encouraging atmosphere. Furthermore, their on-line platform (nihaocafe.com) is well designed and allows to access learning material, review classes, and learn vocabulary and grammar very efficiently.Great learning experience so far.

I've been here for 6 years and this was the worst dinner ever.First of all  they did not get our reservation properly. They thought we want to sit inside althouth my friend asked for terrace seating. Thankfully some couple was just leaving so we found a table outside. 

Restaurant downstairs, bar and wine tasting upstairs - Eudora is a very serviceable (if oddly named) North American-style food and drink establishment. No great risks were taken in design or decor, but there is a solid feeling of quality about the place that may make it a standby for locals just looking for a spot to spend the evening. Think burgers, beer, pizzas, a pool table and brunch.

If you are thiking of starting 1 on 1 tuition, I'd highly recommend That's mandarin.The online learning system is easy to follow, and the opportunity to review past lessons and preview upcoming ones has been really helpful in my language learning journey. My teacher is very friendly and patient, I have enjoyed all of my classes. Meanwhlie, I've found that there's a solid progress in my Chinese, which is helpful for me to survive and live here. I was previosly a student at the Hutong School and my hours were transfered to That's Mandarin when the Hutong School closed up shop. I've taken an intro class and 2 full classes so far. The two teachers I've worked with, Momo and Li laoshi, are extremely professional, friendly, and knowledgeable! They appropriately assessed my chinese level and are mindful in what areas I am improving in and what areas need work.
