MSC Cruises newest bartender is a humanoid robot and will soon be joined by more robotic co-workers

Joining the more than 1,700 crew members on board the cruise line’s flagship MSC Virtuosa ship will be Rob, the first humanoid robotic bartender at sea. Rob the robotic bartender will be able to converse with guests in eight languages. His personality, seen through his conversational skills and LED-enabled face, adjusts based on the atmosphere.

Fish are Friends premiered Feb. 15 as part of Mad Cow s ongoing Bringing Home the Herd series, and will be available for streaming through mid-March. The show features an ensemble cast of singers from area theme parks who explore the tried-and-true themes of family and friendship and finding each other under the sea. Fish Are Friends stars Maddie Lane, Bert Rodriguez, Christina Sivrich and Charles Stevens.

Mayhem on Mills returns with live outdoors wrestling in Orlando this weekend

First, local punk-infused wrestling federation Mayhem on Mills returns to action with their first show in a year. And second, this event will go down in a new outdoors event space, Carlotta s Culture Park. Mayhem on Mills   founded by former Orlandoan Rich Evans (also of Total Punk and Golden Pelicans) along with local wrestlers Teddy Stigma and Dan Drennen  has been on an extended hiatus because of the pandemic, but finally returns. The scrappy independent wrestling federation is notable both because of appearances from legit area indy talent (Serpentico, Effy, and Treehouse Lee, for instance), but also because of a healthy sense of the surreal
