this kind of legislation and, frankly, they have joined the effort coming from the administration to discredit mueller and discredit a lot of of what the investigation is about including circulating stories about the fbi and about memos that are not grounded in fact. so i would be shocked if, all of a sudden, they turn around and support this kind of legislation, given the current political dynamics. and, errol, i understand what could motivate people to want to protect and preserve this investigation but then there is the issue of, you know, should we legislate to limit essentially the president s power? well, i don t know that this president, in particular, is going to let anybody limit his pours. he is going to stretch the outer limits of them, which is why the legislation came up in the first place. this is a president who unlike his four or five presidedecessos
