This is according to the Automobile Association (AA), which was commenting on unaudited mid-month fuel price data released by the Central Energy Fund. The AA says unless the picture drastically improves by month-end, SA’s fragile economy is set for a major hit. At this mid-month point, petrol is set for a whopping increase of 80c a litre, diesel is flagged for an increase of around 61c a litre, and illuminating paraffin for a 63c increase.
