High school students in Grand Forks and Leeds, N.D., have been named as district nominees for the U.S. Presidential Scholars in Career and Technical Education Program.
The Grand Forks Central High School nominees are Baylor Anttila, Dennis Du, Haley Gereau, Anton Golovko, Jacob Hanson and Jakob Stevenson.
Red River High School nominees are Alexandra Anderson, Derek Chaves, Broden Diederich, Ella Fosse, Nabeel Hossain and Theodore Tchomakhidze.
Kearan Nelsen, a student at Leeds High School, is among the 22 statewide nominees, according to the North Dakota Department of Career and Technical Education.
