SALISBURY, Md. The Salisbury Wicomico Arts Council (SWAC) announced they want to keep the arts alive in the community throughout the pandemic and with the help of some relief funds, they might just be able to do so.
SWAC says their new COVID-19 Arts Emergency Grant opportunity is for local artists in the Wicomico County. SWAC executive director, Therese Hamilton, says these challenging times have called for desperate measures so they’ve come up with a grant for any individual artist whether they are a musician, a band, group/class, arts educator, non-profit arts organization and small businesses related to arts and entertainment.
