Advanced digital solutions start their demonstration operation at Power Plant in Thailand

New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO) and Marubeni Corporation (Marubeni) have commenced the demonstration operation of advanced digital solutions such as optimizing power generation and predicting the plant abnormalities before a failure through AI/big data analysis at the Mae Moh Thermal Power Plant Unit 11 and 13 (300 MW each) operated by Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT) since March 2021 under Private Sector-Led Promotion of Low Carbon Technologies Program.
