Nevertheless, i believe that we do have a meaningful opportunity for reform. A bipartisan consensus has been developing around the idea we should be smart on crime. And given the current recep different to evidencebased implementation the time may be right for reconsideration of federal criminal code reform. I do have a number of suggestions for consideration if congress were to consider embarking on an effort to revise the federal criminal code.
