We are in tough shape. I just got a letter from the governor. He was talking, some of you may know about this about how tough is shut down has been and will be for the state of nevada. Programs like child nutrition programs, snap benefits, unemployment insurance, dozens of other programs. He said this undermines the Economic Security of the vaticans. I agree with that. Nevadans. A default. Thats due to a shut down. A default would make matters even worse. And im concerned. Im concerned the direction this country is going and the effect it has on my own state. If i can ask the governor a question. You said that when you were governor and help its fair to say you did a good job. And you said you had both houses were democrats at the time. Under what circumstances, what circumstances did you tell the leaders to the other party that you wouldnt negotiate or you wouldnt compromised .
