Responding to a question asked by a Congress MP whether the Government has any plans to enact a law for the appointment of Election Commissioners (ECs) and the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) to conduct free and fair elections, Law Minister Kiren Rijiju said that the government is examining the judgement of the Supreme Court and will take appropriate action.
