The Montana Fish and Wildlife Commission unanimously voted Thursday to approve the acquisition of a new wildlife management area proposed for the Lower Yellowstone River.
Montana Fish and Wildlife Commission unanimously voted Oct. 19 to approve the acquisition of a new wildlife management area proposed for the Lower Yellowstone River.
The acquisition will create Montana’s newest Wildlife Management Area, protect wildlife and riparian habitat and open 2.2 miles of riverfront for boat-in and walk-in access.
