BLG Logistics and Eurokai appoint new CEO
The EUROGATE Group shareholders BLG LOGISTICS and EUROKAI have appointed Christian Lankenau as the new HR Director in the Group Management Board of EUROGATE GmbH & Co. KGaA, KG. Effective from January 1, 2021, he will succeed Ulrike Riedel, who became Board member of BLG LOGISTICS as Labour Relations Director on July 1, 2020 and continues to act as HR Director of the EUROGATE Group on an interim basis until December 31, 2020. In his new role, Christian Lankenau will be responsible for HR, legal affairs and internal audit.
Christian Lankenau, born in 1977, completed an apprenticeship as a banker and studied business administration at the universities of Bremen (GER), Leeds (UK) and Caen (F), graduating with a diploma in business administration. After completing his studies, he worked in various functions at the auditing company KPMG in Bremen and Chicago (US) between 2004 and 2011. In 2011, he moved to NTB North Sea Terminal Bremerhaven
