It won't even be close to the record-breaking October 2020 storm where 7.5 inches of snow fell in Spokane at the end of the month.

It's just a chance, but the forecast for next Wednesday morning could result in the season's first snowfall for Spokane.

After a record dry stretch through the spring and summer months, September ended up with nearly as much rain as the pervious six months combined.

A single day rainfall of 0.42 inches is the most rain Spokane has seen since Jan. 12, 2021.
