The Healey-Driscoll Administration has unveiled a substantial commitment to support the agricultural backbone of Massachusetts with a total of $710,140 in grants disbursed through the APR Improvement Plan (AIP).

Peach Day returns to the Easton Farmers Market 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 5.

The Easton Farmers Market's winter session will kick off Jan. 14, running from 10 a.m. to noon weekly on Saturdays through April 29. It’s moving from Centre Square to the 300 block of Northampton Street, directly in front of the Easton Public Market.

The hot, dry summer caused one of the worst droughts in North Texas history, but August came in with a gift of rain for a large portion of the area.

From freshly-baked bread to mushrooms, 15 vendors will open the 10th season of the Easton Farmers Market's winter session.
