Roland McGhee Jr. viewed his college decision as a relatively easy choice.
Toledo football checked all the boxes academically, athletically and family wise. Plus the Rockets coaching staff kept in contact with him more than any other program.
McGhee announced his commitment on June 26, picking Toledo over offers from Akron, Tennessee State and UT Martin.
âThey had everything I needed, so I was like, letâs go,â he said.
McGhee is the latest Ensworth safety to pledge to an FBS school. He will follow former Tigers Rodney Owens (Memphis), Jaylon King (Georgia Tech), Keyshawn Lawrence (Oklahoma) and Andre Turrentine (Ohio State) to the highest level of college football next year.
