JU will partner with Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, which will build a facility in the university's medical mall, officials said.

The facility will be built north of Jacksonville University’s Arlington campus with classes beginning in 2026.

The north end of Jacksonville University will be the fifth campus site for Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Beginning in January, qualified students here will be able to earn a bachelor of science in nursing degree in 12 months.

Founding dean Nicholas Allard says ABA provisional accreditation by 2024 is the goal.

Jacksonville University College of Law begins classes with 14 students.

“Our students will be in the courthouse, around practicing members of the Bar and judges who will be role models,” Nicholas Allard says.

The ACI Foundation’s Concrete Innovation Council (CIC) will host its next Technology Forum on August 30- September 1, 2022, in St. Paul, MN. This is the first in-person forum in two years and will include four technology showcases, over ten different presentations, and a debate.

The bill also reappropriates $8 million in bond debt savings to other public investment projects including marketing for Breeze Airways.
