63 at the airport. the winds are south, southwest and continuing to remain south for us throughout the day today and helping to get the temperatures warming up nicely. right now hurricane matthew is a troublemaker in the caribbean. and it is barrelling to the u.s.? yes, getting closer to the u.s. what is happening it is on the western edges of haiti and scraping the eastern portions of cuba and emerging into the tropical atlantic near the bahamas. later today hurricane warnings or watching for florida. the forecast models are pushing it closer to the coast here s a look at haiti as the country braces for the powerful storm. hurricane matthew is gaining strength as it gets closer to here in the u.s., governors in florida and north carolina have already declared states of emergency as the storm gets closer. if it maintains strength, it could cause massive destruction. abc news has crews in haiti and jamaica this morning. look for their reports today on good morning ameri
