Florida conservatives celebrated some victories in local school boards Tuesday night with the Governor’s office touting 25 of DeSantis’ 30 endorsed candidates winning their seats.

There are a few factors that have played into a much different environment in this primary election. 

Gov. DeSantis endorsed 3 Sarasota School Board candidates in the primary. The races are nonpartisan, but DeSantis is trying to elevate conservatives.

Governor DeSantis spoke in Sarasota Sunday as part of his education agenda tour.

The school board candidates he has chosen to endorse have pledged to run on the DeSantis Education Agenda: Putting Students First, Protecting Parents Rights.

Citizens in Sarasota and across Florida cant afford to sit out voting on Election Day Tuesday.

The candidates say they plan to gain parent trust and decrease political discussion among the board.
