The four-member majority is pursuing ambitions in line with extremely conservative groups, including Moms for Liberty. Expect more turmoil in future.

Superintendent Brennan Asplen would be paid a total of about $170,000, along with moving expenses, upon departure.

The town commissioners' discussions centered on concern for appearing partisan in their decision when their goal is the opposite.
