Many bills related to firearm regulation are scheduled for their first committee hearing in the Colorado Legislature.

DENVER — Coloradans could soon have the option to buy a license plate celebrating Chicano power if a proposed bill passes the state legislature.

Representative Tim Hernández has proposed a new license plate design that would honor Chicano culture and support programs for Chicano youth.

 

(The Center Square) – A bill introduced by House Democrats would ban the manufacturing, purchasing or selling of so-called assault weapons in Colorado.

As introduced, the bill would ban the sale and transfer of assault weapons, but not the possession of them, so people who already own these types of firearms would be allowed to keep them.
