Hollywood celebs honour the late director who passed away at age 82

British director was surrounded by family when he died on Christmas Eve, his long-time agency announced

Irish stars Pierce Brosnan and Liam Neeson are among those who have paid tribute to writer, director and actor David Leland following his death at the age of 82.

David Leland was known for writing two hit films about British madam Cynthia Payne - Personal Services, starring Dame Julie Walters, and the BAFTA and Cannes-winning Wish You Were Here. He also won an Emmy for his directing of an episode of the US war drama Band Of Brothers.
