April 29, 2021 White Castle has pegged its latest promotion to National Burger Month, which starts Saturday, May 1 and this year falls within the brand s celebration of its centennial. As the official sponsor of National Burger Month the brand is offering a month of specials, including a sweepstakes that will net one customer a $100,000 grand prize, a news release said. White Castle is the official sponsor of National Hamburger Month, having created the month-long event in 1991 to pay homage to the Original Slider we created and the industry we pioneered, President and CEO Lisa Ingram said in the release.
