Early voting for the June 22 primary election will get underway Saturday, June 12, with several members of the Herkimer County Legislature and the Schuyler town council among those facing challenges from other Republican candidates.
The town of Schuyler has the highest number of candidates in the running with incumbent Schuyler Town Supervisor Anthony J. Lucenti facing a primary challenge from George J. Luther III. Incumbent council members Bette Szesny and Rodney K. Dodge face primary challenges from four candidates: Ronald J. Beach Jr., John W. Scholl Jr., Gary A. Lesniak and Robert H. Wasyleski.
