The International (TI), the most anticipated tournament of Dota 2, is set for a roaring comeback in August this year with yet another record-breaking prize pool in the history of all esports.
TI10 or the 10th edition of the annual world Dota 2 tourney which was postponed last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic boasts of a $40,018,195 (over P1.9 billion) prize pool, surpassing the previous record of $34.3 million set by TI9.
Game developer Valve announced on Wednesday, May 12, that the world championship will be held from Aug. 5 to 15 in the same planned venue of Ericsson Globe in Stockholm, Sweden.
