The 12-year-old boy who died in a hunting accident Sunday, Oct. 9, near Motley is beyond a tragedy.

The shooting occurred over the weekend about 30 miles northwest of Brainerd, according to the Cass County Sheriffs Office.

The boys parents decided to pull the plug about 13 hours after the shooting, a family member said.
