MEMPHIS, TN - Its been one week since FOX13 lost our friend and colleague Tom Dees.

Tom Dees, the longest-tenured member of the FOX13 News team, died Thursday at the age of 57.

Dees worked as a journalist in Memphis and the Mid-South since 1995.

"A lot of people have been saying I am the hero," he said. "I am just glad everyone was able to get out of the house."
