Though not as densely packed in Milwaukee s metro area, mom-and-pop pizza shops are the rule for those looking for something other than a chain or large franchise.
What follows is not an exhaustive list, but includes some notable favorites, spread throughout the suburbs from Lake Michigan to Lake Country. They are all small local groups (usually with one location) with pizza in their name and dine-in amenities, usually serving pizza as a specialty. Most have been in business at the same location for more than a decade some more than half a century.

Viviana Pribonic, was chosen to be a costume model for the national dance costume catalog Curtain Call Costumes 2021.
Her mother,
Deena Pribonic, who is also an instructor at Erie Dance Conservatory, had a friend who works for Curtain Call Costumes and thought Viviana would make a great candidate, according to information provided by Erie Dance Conservatory. So, mother and daughter traveled five hours to York on three different occasions in January, February and June 2020 for photo shoots.
Sarah Purvis, the dance school’s artistic director, said that Viviana was a natural. She was not only featured throughout the catalog, but also as one of the dancers on the cover.
