Smart meter specialist Sureserve Group PLC said on Friday that it has agreed to a £214.1 million ($265 million) takeover offer by European private equity firm Cap10 4NetZero Bidco to defend itself against "risk and uncertainty."

Convatec Group PLC said on Wednesday that it has bought an immunity-enhancing product from 30 Technology Ltd. for up to £176 million ($218 million) which it hopes will have a range of applications within several medical technology businesses.
