Judith Durham refused for many years to give in to pressure from promoters, fans and Guy, the unofficial Seekers boss, to get back together. Then in 1992 Durham received a letter from a fan in England. The fan pointed out that John Lennon’s death had ensured the Beatles would never reunite but a Seekers reunion remained a possibility and therefore should be attempted at any cost.

In 1965 the Seekers were voted more popular than the Beatles yet she seemed the antithesis of the Swinging Sixties
