This is always the big daddy conference tournament. Perhaps I’ll draw some eyre from Rocky Top for not including Tennessee in the top teams, as their record is just as good as the three I listed. I simply think the others are more talented. You know about Vanderbilt’s top pitchers but also keep an eye on young freshman

Head coach Kevin O’Sullivan stated on Saturday the Gators have to move on after getting swept by Arkansas.
His statement will be put to the test after four straight losses halted Florida’s momentum before the first round of the SEC Championship tournament on Tuesday morning. The No. 9 Florida Gators travel to Hoover, Alabama to take on a familiar foe, the Kentucky Wildcats.

Rain poured down from the Arkansas skies on Thursday night, but the Florida Gators fell harder in the end.
From the lead-off batter to the last, the Gators either went down staring at perfectly placed strikes or swinging wildly on dangerous change-ups.

We just released our new Top 200 Draft prospects list, which not only adds 50 names to our previous list, but shuffles things at the top of it. Some of those changes are reflected in our latest projection of the first round below.
There’s still a very long way to go, with the Draft in July and a lot of baseball, especially collegiately, left to play. This is a typical occurrence, but even more so this year when reaching out to scouts about this mock, I’m getting more responses of “This is going to be a wild year.” So stay tuned as we start turning up the mock heat over the final seven weeks before the Draft arrives.
