IMPHAL A team of the Manipur Legislative Assembly (MLA) members visited villages located in the peripheral areas and foothills of Manipur on May 12 and spoke with the villagers, according to a press release. During the interactions, the villagers highlighted their grievances and concerns before the team, which included mostly security, supply of essential commodities among many other things, the release said. The team visited Leimaram Chidu Waterfall, Saiton, Nganukon, Phoubakchao among others and assured the government’s effort to provide security and ensure protection of the people especially those in the peripheral areas.
