Guineas looms for Zou Dancer

Link to Share Troy Corstens said connections will have to consider their options, but the Group 1 Australian Guineas in two weeks looks a lock-in for filly Zou Dancer after her incredible win in the Group 3 Vanity at Flemington. Zou Dancer carried a low domestic rating of just 68 into the race but she emerged as a potential Group 1 winner after she spanked VRC Oaks winner Personal by almost five lengths when recording a most impressive time for the 1400-metre journey. The three-year-old filly, who was having just her fifth race start, recorded a sizzling 1:22.19 for the journey and only an hour or so early the Group 1-bound Regardsmaree won over the same trip in a time almost one second slower than Zou Dancer (1:22.32).

SEN Track Preview: Flemington summer race day

SEN Track Preview: Flemington summer race day By 2020-12-19T11:35+11:00 Christmas is nearly here and the Saturday preview for Flemington will hopefully be an early present for the punters today. The track will be in lovely order with the rail going back to the true position. Should be able to win from anywhere today with tempo and talent the likely factors to determine the majority of winners. Narrowed the best bets down to some each-way selections today. Race 3 No.4 - DANCE TO DUBAI Dance to Dubai looks a nice progressive filly. She was very brave when holding off Audacious Heart in her Sandown maiden last start and the rise to 1400m should be of absolutely no concern.
