Dec 18, 2020 James Joseph Ferrari, 73 of Paris, PA passed away Wednesday December 16, 2020 at his home after bravely struggling with a serious illness for many years. He was born February 4, 1947 in Weirton, WV. Jim was the son of the late Alfred and Sophie Filak Ferrari. He was also preceded in death by his grandparents, James and Mary Verne Ferrari, who were instrumental in raising him. He was a graduate of McArthur High School in Hollywood, FL. He also attended West Virginia Northern Community College. Jim retired from Weirton Steel Corporation after 40 years. He was grateful for the steel mill and the life it afforded him. Jim married Catherine Johnson in 2004. He began a life with her and her children and grandchildren. The grandchildren loved him unconditionally and he became an important part of their lives. Jim and Cathy lived a life together that they both cherished. Jim loved the Steelers, the Penquins, Pirates, and all sports. He was an avid golfer before he became i
