Topa Insurance Co. has named Paul Torio director of technology.
Torio is responsible for developing and delivering solutions across Topa’s technology infrastructure in support of business goals.
He has worked at Topa for more than 15 years. Most recently, he led and delivered a technology foundation transformation in the areas of integration, rating, and document generation. Previous titles include senior software engineer and solution architect.

Topa Insurance in California Names Kim Controller January 28, 2021
Calabasas, Calif.-based Topa Insurance Co. has promoted Jamie Kim to controller and vice president of accounting.
Kim will be responsible for representing the company and the finance department on strategic projects, reinsurance reporting, and leading the accounts payable, accounting and treasury departments. She will also continue to lead the company’s statutory and GAAP reporting.
Kim joined the company in 2017 as assistant vice president and controller.

Topa Insurance Group in California Names Eyre to Board December 18, 2020
Calabasas, Calif.-based Topa Insurance Group has named William Eyre to the board of directors.
Eyre has more than 40 years of experience in the reinsurance industry, both in executive positions and sales. Eyre is currently managing director at Pinnacle Risk Advisors LLC. Eyre was a managing director of Guy Carpenter before that. Eyre was also vice chairman at JLT Re.
