Body Found in Burned Up Car at Rural Kenyon Residence

Kenyon, MN (KROC-AM News) - The Goodhue County Sheriff’s Office is reporting that human remains were discovered in a burned up vehicle parked outside a rural Kenyon after a fire was reported at the residence on New Year’s Eve.
A news release indicates firefighters from the Kenyon Fire Department responded to a report of a structure fire in the 45000 block of Highway 56 Boulevard, just north of Kenyon, around 6:15 Thursday evening. The victim was discovered shortly after their arrival at the scene.

St. Paul, MN (KROC-AM News) - The daily COVID-19 update from the Minnesota Department of Health lists five Goodhue County residents among the most recent coronavirus-related deaths in the state.
Another Olmsted County resident in their late 70s, a Houston County resident in their late 90s, and a person living in Winona County who was in their late 90s were also among the 54 COVID-19 deaths reported today. The five Goodhue County residents who died ranged in age from their late 60s to their late 80s.
