The Covid-19 infection rate in Enfield was 580.3 new cases per 100,000 people in the seven days to January 20 – down 53 per cent from the rate of 1,224 recorded in the week to January 8. In Haringey, the rate was 548.7 cases per 100,000 – a 48 per cent drop compared to the January 8 figure. Both boroughs also saw week-on-week declines in their infection rates of almost 30 per cent.
