Nendoroid figures modeled after characters from anime and movies are on display at the Enkei Gekijo Kurayoshi Figure Museum in Kurayoshi, Tottori Prefecture. (Kazuhiko Ishikawa) KURAYOSHI, Tottori Prefecture A special exhibition here features 1,000 Nendoroid dolls modeled after characters from anime, video games, movies and other pop culture sources. The display at the Enkei Gekijo Kurayoshi Figure Museum runs through March 21. Nendoroids are palm-sized figures produced by Tokyo-based Good Smile Co. Their body proportions are 2.5 heads tall. The company built the Rakutsuki Factory here in 2014 at the request of the prefectural and city governments, producing one Nendoroid variety each month. Previously, an exhibition featuring 500 Nendoroid figures was held at the city-run Kurayoshi Museum in 2015.
